Antidisestablishmentarianism in the UK, is a song that is largely credited with giving
birth of the Plunk Rock movement. It was released as Chicot’s single on 26 Nov 1976,
and was featured on the influential album, Never Mend the Ballcocks, ‘eres Chicot.
The word Antidisestablishmentarianism is actually the longest in the English language.
Unfortunately Chicot didn’t really know what it meant (*see dictionary definition),
and the record company could not spell it correctly nor consistently on the single,
album, posters, or T-shirts.
Antidisestablishmentarianism in the UK, is listed as number 53 in the Rolling Stone
magazine’s list of the top 500 all time greatest songs of all time. (Although personally
I think it should be higher).
